Looks like I might be the only one in this group who is into classic cars. I presently own a 1965 Ford Thunderbird which I am trading in for a 1972 Ford Mustang convertible. I hope to have the Mustang by the end of the week. I've been into classic cars for almost a decade. In the past I've owned a 1965 Pontiac Bonneville convertible, 1955 Ford Sunliner convertible, and a 1957 Ford Thunderbird.

I sure hope there are some of you who have pre-1973 Mustangs. If not, it would appear this is not going to be the club for me. We won't have enough in common what with you guys and gals being into more current year Mustangs and myself into the classics.TEXT

;D ;D ;D Got my '72 Mustang convertible. The dealer detailed it out so well that it looks like a brand new car.
I can hardly wait for that car show in Silver Springs to proudly display it.

No one answered my question: Is there anyone in Bay Area Mustangs that has a pre-1973 Mustang? How old is the oldest of all of you? By what I read in these message boards I gather that most all of you are "young pups". I'm not exactly and old dog, but I get the feeling I'm a bit more mature than all of you.

I've been thinking of joining the Classic Mustangs of Tampa club. I'll attend their next meeting in January and decide from there.

By the way my name is John and Happy Holidays to all of you.

Hi John. My name is Mark. Our member age span varies from early 40's to early 20's. I myself am 24 if you wanna know. Anyway there is one gentlemen currently in the club besides you with a 66 mustang. We are in the process of trying to expand our club and interested in attracting more than just 79-present Mustangs. Having you and Lance in the club will hopefully help us out in this situation by attraching more a variety of car owners. I personally am always looking to buy a classic Mustang to work on, but the opportunity has not been around yet. I have an interest in the late sixties mustangs and probably will purchase one in the near future since I have a garage now to be able to work on it, and store it. Anyway, I personally hope to meet you and the other new members soon, so we can get to know each other better, and hang out as a group. Most of us will be attending Silver Springs, so I am hoping that a club meeting will take place before hand to get everyone on the same page and so that we are there together as a group. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact Micah(2 stangs) or myself. Merry Christmas

Mark
